Data Protection Notice

This notice has been prepared by RE/MAX İDA (trade name to be added) (“RE/MAX İDA”), as the data controller, pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), to inform you about the processing of personal data collected through our website and communication channels.

2. Personal data processed

• Identity and contact: full name, phone number, e-mail address.
• Request details: property details you share in our forms (type, area, size, budget, etc.), message content, and experience and occupation for career applications.
• Transaction security: IP address, form submission time and browser information.
• Marketing (only with your consent): permission and preferences for commercial messages; usage data collected through analytics cookies.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

• Receiving and assessing your request and getting back to you — necessary for entering into or performing a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c) and legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f).
• Providing brokerage services and fulfilling legal obligations — legal obligation (art. 5/2-ç).
• Ensuring information and transaction security and preventing misuse — legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f).
• Sending commercial electronic messages and analytics — your explicit consent (art. 5/1).

4. Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to our hosting and e-mail service providers to deliver the service, to our business partners within the RE/MAX network depending on the nature of your request, and to authorised public institutions where required by law. Analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics) are only used with your consent, and their servers may be located abroad.

5. Collection method

Your data is collected electronically or physically through the forms on our website, phone, WhatsApp, e-mail and face-to-face meetings at our office.

6. Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as required by the purpose of processing and the periods set out in the relevant legislation; it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to learn whether it is used for its intended purpose, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request its correction, deletion or destruction, to object, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage.
