The digital services of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre (TKGM) let you start many procedures without going to the land registry office.

Web Tapu

Through Web Tapu you can apply for procedures such as sales and inheritance transfers, book appointments, see fee amounts and track your applications. You log in with your e-Devlet (Turkey’s e-government portal) credentials.

Title deed record problems on e-Devlet

Some older records may not appear automatically on e-Devlet; in that case a matching application is made. If a property that does not belong to you appears in your name, this is usually due to a similar name and is resolved with a correction request. Errors such as a misspelled name in the land register can also be corrected on application.

Alo 181 and MEGSİS

  • Alo 181: The call centre for information on land registry and cadastre procedures, appointments, application tracking and feedback or complaints.
  • MEGSİS: Lets you view the location, boundaries and basic information of properties on a map. It is ideal for checking the parcel details of a plot you have seen.

Frequently asked questions on this topic

I cannot see a property registered in my name on e-Devlet. What should I do?

Some property records are old and may not be automatically matched with the e-Devlet (Turkey’s e-government portal) system. In that case, you need to submit a matching/declaration application through e-Devlet or Web Tapu.

Following a review by the land registry, the property record is updated and becomes visible in the system.

e-Devlet shows a property in my name that is not mine. How can I correct this?

Such cases usually arise from similar names or technical matching errors. You can file an objection and correction request through Web Tapu.

If, after the necessary review, the land registry establishes that the property does not belong to the applicant, the record is removed from the system.

My name is misspelled in the land register. How is it corrected?

To correct a name error, you can apply through Web Tapu or the Alo 181 call centre. If the error was made by the authority, no fee is charged.

What is the Web Tapu system?

Web Tapu is the digital service platform of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre that lets citizens start title deed transactions online, track their applications and obtain certain documents electronically.

What can I do through the Alo 181 call centre?

Through the Alo 181 line you can get information about land registry and cadastre procedures, book appointments, track the status of applications and submit opinions or complaints.

What can I do with MEGSİS (the Spatial Property System)?

With MEGSİS you can view the location, boundaries and basic information of properties on a map digitally. The system is designed to provide visual location information.
